I know how easy it is to feel stuck in life, especially when you’re burdened with debt. As a young man starting a civilian career in logistics with the Air Force, I found myself consumed by an addiction to roulette and was burning through every dollar I made. Fifteen years later, I know that recovery is actually possible and can open up an entire new world of opportunity and fulfillment. I’m certain that with dedication and accountability, clients can discover the personal freedom and autonomy that comes with financial well-being.
I’m an Accredited Financial Counselor®, and spent years as a financial educator in the Baltimore area teaching financial literacy, budgeting, goal-setting, and credit. I have a 15-year civilian career at the Department of Defense, 10 of those years with the Naval Air Systems Command working in career development. I’m also a Certified Conflict Mediator, mediating discrimination cases and workplace disputes. I hold an MS in Business Administration and Management from Central Michigan University, and I am a lifelong jazz drummer.
